Working for a higher calling. It can be elusive, hard to figure out. But when you’re there, it’s like the skies part and angels sing.
Here’s the thing – all this talk about finding your passion and figuring out what you do best is… well… about us. Perhaps we should be more about the One who created it all to begin with.
See, it’s not so much about finding your passion as it is about uncovering God’s truths. These are timeless truths that have benefitted and transformed people throughout the generations. The unchanging Word of God for a changing world in need of God.
Hi, I am Julie Stroud and this is Fervent Coaching. I am a bit of a dreamer and believer in the impossible. I am also a realist, seeking plans, methods, and steps to turn dreams into realities. Most importantly, I desire to see all of life through the lens of scripture.
To be fervent is to be enthusiastic, glowing with an intensity of spirit. I formed Fervent Coaching to come alongside women leaders and entrepreneurs who want to live with this kind of fire… in business and in all of life.
I write about gifts and personality, entrepreneurism, business, leadership, work at home issues, and ministry. I also share about the books I read and the successful women I interview. I am a widowed mom of three sons. I enjoy learning, reading, writing, and travel. I am an HGTV addict. I’m kind of a foodie, and as a good Christian woman, dining out with friends doubles as “fellowshipping”. I am also a business nerd. I have a degree in business, and my work experience includes 7 years in learning and development, 17 years as a leader in direct sales, and 3 years in coaching. I am currently pursuing a Master’s in Organizational Leadership from Regent University.
This is a place of inspiration and education for entrepreneurial women. This is a place for women who are leaders inside the home, in the community, the church, and the marketplace.
This is a place not filled with mere opinions and empty tips. Heaven knows it’s a noisy world. This is a place grounded in educational theory, empirical data, anecdotal evidence – all linked to biblical truth. I hope you hear my sincerity and warmth, and I hope to leave you inspired and ready for action.
Here’s my promise to you, dear reader. I write approximately an article a week and I send it out via email to my subscribers. I will not sell your email address or any personal information. I am honored when people follow me and do not take that responsibility lightly. I love to connect with my followers, so leave comments and engage in conversation. Finally, I love to pray and you can always leave prayer requests (omitting others’ names and details, of course).
Lastly, my heartfelt invitation to you… if anything you read resonates with you, then let me send you a complimentary set of tools to ignite a fire in your business. This is for you when you enter your name and email to receive my weekly blogposts.
Thanks for stopping by! God bless you!
